Once,
Fruits fought for fairness
Fainting and fencing
Fisting and flapping
Saying threat loomed because Pawpaw was made the king of the Fruitdom

Some fruits nitpicked on the everchanging colour of Pawpaw
Claiming he was like an animal
…green in youth
…yellow when ripe
…brown when rotting
…black when destroyed
It annoyed many others that he had so many seeds in him
They claimed his inside was even like goat droppings
Some called Pawpaw an abomination
…because he was the first of his kind to lead the Fruitdom
But Pawpaw worked hard as their king
Taking their complaints in good faith

III
Fast forward, time roughed under mad pressure
And Strawberry was selected as king
Just a touch sent him rotting from red to brown
His original youth colour
…a notable green
He only served few mouths
His stinking mess always giving Fruitdom duress
But many hailed him as best
Calling on the rest to serve his crest
He hated on Pawpaws
And fumed at coconuts
He divided same seeds
And applauded murderous weeds
He sat for a disease
…to kill many fruits by calling it a hoax
He eventually fought the ground
…and called mounds the best protector
Still many loved his absurdities
Although few hid from his shame

IV
So an old wise Coconut told fruits ready to listen
“If you wanted to hide the foolishness of Strawberries
…you shouldn’t have chosen Pawpaw in the first place
For folly compareth not to shining honour
And grace hideth not from thoughtful eyes
A glaring comparison will out your gullibility
And break the hidden history of superiority
…which once acted mystery for your victory”
Thus continues the chaos as Strawberry turns dry straw
…burning the peace of Fruitdom into ashes
