LOUD RUMOURS

Smoke is not fire
But duly points at a fire
…even without a visible source
Sometimes a rumour is louder than a shouted statement
Because it forces ears of their characters
…to walk farther to decipher
Forcing a knowing through a hearing
…backed by taboos of why it exists
So think not that you say not
Feel not that you’re in a quiet fest
Your thoughts are boldly written on your forehead

When you force your words
…below your breath
Calling loudly the ones you’re speaking about
To turn their ears speakers
…planted around your mind
Just a look in your eyes
…and they are sure
So sure of your thoughts as they’re of their breaths
So say it loudly
There’s no carpet of gossips
…which is unshiftable for a sweeping knowing
All it takes is a stinky mess
And it is removed
…its secrets bare to all
So say it like a human
Don’t hiss it like a snake
…the rumour you habour
