CONGRATS IN ORDER

May this day
Push forward your yay
May this day
…drown your nay
Because it is May Day

II
The world will not run itself
If minds and hands and voices and legs cease
…to run it
The world cannot be this thrilling
If minds and voices and strengths of humans
…fail to work it

III
For all you’ve done
And all you’ve worked hard in help
Be it sweeping or book keeping
Be you a medical doctor or a nurse
Be it refuse dumping or collecting
Be you sellers or manufacturers
Oh you farmers and harvesters
Ayekoo in horns
Thank you in drumming
Continue your hardwork in xylophone language
The earth loves a cheerful worker
And its eyes see you
…even if you feel unnoticed
