THIS IS THE HEAVEN WE WANT

This is the heaven we want
The heaven where fetish angels with Biblical don’ts front
…blasphemous revolutions held sacred by sanity won’ts

This is the heaven we seek
The heaven where eagles are made weak and meek
…to bow to chickens, lending their beaks
…to be used as axes to cut their own thoughts’ peaks

This is the heaven we beg
A heaven where Christ is used as peg
…to cuff our developing legs
And God is used to make us immobile like ugly fragile eggs

This is the heaven we need
A heaven where we feed from weeds because our deeds need
…to heed to our static standards to help get pats from our leads

This is the heaven we cherish
A heaven where we relish self loathing as a dish
…and keep freebies as wishes
…making sure majority famish

VI
This is the heaven we dictate
…to debate our state
…and fate
The heaven we use to all pious souls rate
…in our judgment crates

VII
This is the heaven we plead
To be fed seeds of creeds planted by deeds of greed
…and watered by our undoings
I cringe at the stings of failure
…housing our heaven
