CORONA WONDERS

Corona has corrected many a curse
…curing many a con in many a country
Clever Corona!

II
It has shown real needs as to wants
…of supposed developed nations –
…toilet paper on top, food below, great minds!
Correct Corona!

III
It has taken silence bragging
…from dragging borgas
Stopped many planes from flying the skies
…healing human sores on the earth
And has pulled gift demanders
…from their annoying commands
Commander Corona!

IV
It has demonized ordinary coughs
…turned sneezing into witchcraft
…and ordinary cold into a death executioner
Promoting gloves to gold
…nose masks to diamonds
…and sanitizers to gods
Is it a wonder Africa is turning bold in visitor selectivity?
Champion Corona!

He is Satan who extends a hand to shake
She is a devil who opens her arms to hug
They are evil who stand close enough for comfort
A touch has turned an electrocution
A kiss
…a death sentence
Those who go further are hell candidates
Corona the Ruler!

V
Corona has served each being a bed
…and is forcing us to sleep
Shifting real works to the virtual
…shutting borders
These are the wonders of Corona
