NIGGA ON KIPLING

Hey you Nigga on Kipling
…your duku beneath your pointing hat
…your long earing occasionally flying in your left ear
…your Jean jacket with its many pockets
…your long earpieces with your nameless phone
Gives you no right to model a black skin
…on a mad bad stage

II
You sing so loud
…knowing the land does not allow
You dance for a horrified crowd
…knowing they judge your working mind
And you smile like one in a benefiting hunt
Knowing all you need is a gym to trim
…the overblown meat on your bones
Why act mad to bad our kind
…in a sad sad feast of impressions
…making you beast in eyes?

III
Funny you bought me at mad
…until your crowd of beautiful and slender bodied lasses left
…only for you to calm your mad stunts
Whatever you think will get you some
…and help you come with your over trying
Please tell it to show you its mirror
…to make you see you in your bizarre acting

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
