A DENT IN THE WHITE HOUSE

There’s a dent in the White House
…hell bent on ruining prestige meant
…to glitter on world stages
Rage consumes sages
…in ridicule cages
…soiling adages
And writing shame on history pages

II
It barks like a dog
…at the croak of a frog
It roars like a lion
…even in a meditating Zion
It roasts bad past
…to feed today’s burst
It shoots at eagles
…to hold on to its shaky mantle
There is a dent in the White House
A dent hell bent on showcasing can’ts as shants
Holding guns to heads with mouths
As the world shivers
…fearing to be blown into pieces
