SYSTEMS THAT NEVER WORK

Imagine owning a sun that never shines
…clouds that never rain
…air which never blows
It is like systems that never work

II
Imagine having a dryer which never heats
A piano without a sound
A guitar without strings
A spoon which cannot fetch a thing
They’re just like systems that never work

III
What about lavender with no scent?
The earth without a ground?
The sky without its blue?
Trees without their leaves?
Talk less of trees without fruits?
They’re just like systems which never work

IV
We’re like machines wasting our fuel
Labouring without fruits
We’re like shells without lives
Blown by feet in sands of self deceit
No matter how great we are
…if we live not the talk
We’re like shadows in perpetual darkness waiting for others to light our inner powering

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
