To hear the horrors in your heart
As the call for casket closure booms
Do your hurts now fully zoom to gloom a doom?

To know where the bumps of fear birth
For I know this feeling
And I ache for your body
…whose mind can’t mind floating comfort
…whose heart can’t hear any better keeps
…whose eyes see the mouth of the earth
…opening to feed on one half of you

To hold the thunders that are striking
And their clouds of loneliness raining
Knowing the bed that only two shared
…has been divided, one on earth, one beneath
…for a lifetime

I won’t console
For that fills no hole
I won’t come close
For that gives no closure
