Many voices
Roar in this fiery sea
Voices of rivers
Whose feet have tasted different sands
Voices of rains
Whose bodies have tasted higher heavens
Bodies of fluids
Whose noses have smelt rotten foods
Vomited by covered human gutters
Bodies of sweats
Which have explored varied pores
Each lamenting like lost pilgrims
In the end a blend in chorus
Disturbing or angelic, they live as one

Yes. Your poem makes me think of the Middle Passage when my ancestors were kidnapped from Africa. Chained in the bowels of ships, stripped of their language and culture, then forced to be slaves in a cruel land. We are cousins and sisters separated by fate.
