RULING WEATHER

The sky sees many monarchs
Those whose sadness floods the earth
Giving life to most and taking some
Those whose happiness burns the earth
Warming most, drying fractions and killing some
Those whose air barber trees
Burning weeds
And aiding and abetting fires
The sky really sees many monarchs

Amazing how all weathers have their favourites
Honouring some
Demoting some
And killing some
Life’s changes favour all
But under the right weather
Being carted by time

Only those who live close to the earth know those Monarchs. In my country most don’t even know they exist. They think they are caused by wee little man. The result of global warming. I’m thankful every day for my agricultural background. America was stronger, purer, when we were mostly farmers. Too many now are decadent high-tech wizards blinded by their own imagined god-hood. Hard work has its blessings.
