BLESS ME WITH SEED (For those in need of blessings of the womb)

There is a farm hidden in me
Although sunlight feels not its land
And air pumps through thin tubes
As rain never get to muddy its ground
It is fertile enough to grow

II
Bless my land with a perfect seed
Help it blend in rot to live
Help it grow as seed to show in its pot of a flower
Help it mature to be harvested into itself
A land this well faces many problems
Without the blessing of a good seed
Please gift me one

III
Close all ridiculing mouths with awe
Let all pointing fingers shiver to show
Let all eyes pop open to be whipped by air into tears
For I am a farm ready to feed the earth
More food never threaten famine
Look at me too

IV
A farm to grow a seed to grow into a farm
Or to grow into a seed
The earth thrives on this
Farmer of unseen farms
Look down on me
Poor me, strapped on societal public pole
With shame ropes and incompetent clothes
And tend to mine
For I am but a wreck in wait

  1. Years ago God gave me this scripture. Even though I never married nor had children I’m just as Loved in God’s eyes as the married woman with children. Now that I’m long past child-bearing age and have no desire to get married I’m content with my Life as it is. I don’t need a man to be happy because men can’t make you happy only YOU can make YOU happy. Truly I can say I’m satisfied with where God has placed me. Blessed and Highly Favored of the Lord and Empowered to Succeed!!!

    Isaiah 54
    King James Version (KJV)

54 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.

    2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

6 For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

    1. Truly, you are well read. You are lucky because your society allows you tge freedom to live with no castigation. Here in Ghana, many have been driven into madness and death because of their inability to conceive. Society frowns on barreness and women have been branded witches because of it. I will remember Isaiah 54 from today. Thank you Sister Debbie.
