So we started with the Autism Awareness Walk on April 25, 2015. By the grace of God, we now have an experienced mother, a well travelled lady in the realms of autism and a very learned and well researched personality; Mrs. Mary Amoah to organise a workshop to train the teachers and whoever needs the training to understand and care for children living with autism for free. Below is the agenda:

9.00am-9.30am registration,prayer and introductions
Management strategies to support children with speech and language difficulties in the classroom( autism and other communication disorders )
11.30am- 12.00 Q&A on presentation.
Basic introduction to PECS( picture exchange communication system)visual schedules
Building teaching and learning materials to support teaching in the classroom
2.30pm – 3.00pm
Round up of the day/ way forward/ networking
( if there is time we could touch on the topic of fundraising to support the school
