The sun’s claws of heat
And the harmattan’s beak of
Cold are different but
Their similarity strikes
They make lovely cute dawn cry

How two enemies
Can step on a meek lady
Is like the ladle
Which stirs fear in my mind’s pot
I’ll make no bones about it

But dawn loves its place
And will defend both lovers
No matter their bad
Treatment of her, that’s the truth
Nature, its place; a wonder!
