I need to date God

I need to date God

Because before I would think

He’s already thought

He would feel my hunger

And would feel my pain

He would feel my love

And would give me trust

He’ll corner my lies

And will hold my hand

Feeling my discomfort in heat

And holding me tighter in cold

He would lay with me

When my blood turns bubbles

And would stay away

When my visitors rear their heads

He would see my temptations

And would block it all

In the worse case hold me through

And make sure I’m victorious

So I need to date and marry God

For my peace of mind

Even if others term it cheating

So God?

God is us and we are Him. Creator and creation are one only separated by temptation errors in judgement. By making God #1 in our lives the rough patches will be made smoother. We can always rely on God when people fail us. His mercy, kindness and compassion endure forever.
