DRUMS AND NEEDS (HAIKU)

All huge noisy drums

Filled to their satisfaction,

Calm and zip their mouths.

Leave them just half full

And their grumblings will be heard

By a little push

III

Such a pretty drum

Needed a pipe which could fill

Not a half giver

It’s such a pity

That both giver and drum fell,

Dissatisfaction!
