I
Air rose from the sea
Stretched on the shore
And proceeded to town
II
It visited the trees
Greeted the shrubs
And fanned beings
III
Even animals were fanned
All were satisfied
And hailed air
IV
It was branded important
Then its job became a cliché
Complacency set in on earth
V
They neglected air
Air did it all to be remembered
But no, it was not to be
VI
It went back to the arms of its mother
The sea trained air
And it became winds
VII
Winds rose from the sea
Stepped out as tsunami
And had air’s revenge
VIII
It felt indifferent when it saw the ruins
But blamed it all on neglect
Beings saw that neglect was sister to regret
