Snakes

Beautiful, smooth

zigzagging, hissing, slithering

Friendly, watchful, smart, fearful

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)

I have a healthy respect for the danger they represent, but I sense them and have learned to pay attention to this feeling. When I sense one, I stop, find it, and am careful not to go near it. Yet I always stop and watch it for awhile sending it loving thoughts. Most snakes are not dangerous and even eat rats, other snakes and can be helpful to have around. Just watch for them. Ask to be guided and told of their presence. Enjoy them for they add another layer of mystery and beauty to our world. hugs, pat

Interesting, here in Ghana, whenever people see snakes in their homes or on their way, they kill it like a plaque. The are laws against this but it still persists as people don’t understand why snakes must be free.
