I wish for a spirit so divine
Which will close eyes of all who with me dine
And leave my living to be mine
So I can treat myself superbly fine
Then I’ll put all my feelings in line
It doesn’t matter if it sums up to nine
I’ll sit back and cool like the pine
And creepily open my wings like vine
While sipping the tastiest fulfilling wine
I will read some catchy titled zine
With no one there to chirply whine
Or use a vision to me define
To tie me with a societal twine
And sell me like a tasty swine

Wonderfully written! I love how the self is treated here. “So I can treat myself superbly fine”- such a nice feeling to treat and honor oneself with all the deserving rights.
