I’ve walked
I’ve walked through the desert in a sea
Like a lost game
Knowing not the refuge hut
Knowing my end was near
But ended up at its bank
Being caressed by the sea breeze
I’ve stopped
I’ve stopped in the middle of a busy road
Like a disgusting mad man
Carrying loads which drivers and passengers
Could not push through let alone get me off
But I awoke from my painful rooting
And walked off like a gallant soldier
I boxed sicknesses
Fought death
Killed procrastination
Fought poverty
Killed pessimism
Earned respect
Walked through chaotic fire
And still rule my life
In all of these
I know one thing
A time of sadness needs to be celebrated with tears and hope
A time of happiness needs to be celebrated
With laughter and tears
Healed sadness strengthens
Finding happiness satisfies, each phase and its job
