I stand in the midst of two deadly ditches
Holding on to tiny tattered stitches
Wanting to close my eyes but needing the eyes
Hating to say goodbye but compelled as every second eyes
I stand in the middle of this antagonistic wind
Being blown here, being blown there
But held by the same fierce and terrorizing wind
Through all the fear, it aims to be fair
In all the confusion
I shun delusion
Even on one leg
I’ll hang even unto a peg
Praying solemnly to keep me
For the one who needs me to be
