With every breathe we must bow
Never asking how
We are life endowe’
I am not a cow
You are not a cow
With breathe, you’re superior to the cow
As we speak
There are those at their problem’s peak
Being sacked from their resting sticks
For work to commence
There are also those left lonely
By the hungry death whose aim is solely
Feeding its hunger
But they move on in hope
There are also those stuck
To a sick rack
Bearing the shame of childhood
As others see their shameful filth
There are those
Walking in beauty
But hiding grave illnesses in folds
Exciting other’s jealousies but crying in silence
There are those saddled with debts
Their lives being spent on hiding
Sacking the pain of owing those who wept
From their memories
There are those with burdened consciences
Having done too much for the mouth to speak
Their heavy thoughts weighing their pretences
And making them negatively meek
There are those in peaceful need
Seeing wealth as weed
Wanting companions to grow seeds
Seeds they can live with without feeds
And there are those trapped by lies
Caged by societies
Emotionally killed by words
But still living in their shells
Just see the ray of hope
Hold it with all your strength
And lift you up
You aren’t that hopeless
