The rhythm of falling
Plays not in one house
But all
Esi’s roots were in solid gold
Abena’s roots were in filthy gutter mud
Their minds were in contrast
Esi’s complacency showed
Abena’s hard working mind prayed
To ascend the ladder of gold
Time held no hands
The golden tree developed gutter leaves
The gutter mud gave birth to gold then diamond
A screaming “accursed” Esi
A grateful Abena
All learnt valuable lessons
Change grows,
Better change is transient
And gives birth to bad change in no time.
