I am the noisy mosquito
I may want nothing that given the chance you would veto
My irritating presence is not what you must be bothered about
There are many other quiet ones that can make your lips pout
Don’t get me wrong, many can’t stand those, even the stout
The quiet ones that you must concern yourself with
They can destroy the healthy and attractive, what you call lithe
Not even those who give a lot in tithe
You know how huge their fates are, those who pay the tithe
But I’ve seen them crawl at the feet of those mosquitoe’
Yes they all end up in their ghetto
Shivering in the same manner always, for me that is ditto
Don’t compare that with an empty stomach filled with a potent ‘pito’
They cared less about a veto
So please let my noise go
I am not your foe
As you can see, I am nothing you can’t step on with your toe
But I really pose no threat so you can let me go
I can never make your cheeks happy drinking soup like the doe
Neither can I ever be compared with a roe
And you know my lifetime is nothing more than a few days.
