These little arms want to take you in
And make this chest your pillow
As this little mouth sings you a sweet lullaby
Turning this little tongue into a thousand tunes
Until peace engulfs you
Anytime I see dark clouds on your face
The storms are mad
The clouds fail to come down
The lightening lights the path in fearful anger
I stand in their midst thinking not of anything but you
I stand thinking of how more than anything in this world
I would want the sunshine to rise on your face and never set
A close up with you
And I see nothing else but your gateway to your throat
A closer look at you and I feel that tension and difficulty to hold the thoughts
Of joining these parched gates of my face
To the ones which have more than enough goodies to quench my thirst
And in return, fill you with the goodies of love
Though you still know nothing about this pure undiluted snow
That seeks to cool your heat by exchanging hearts for keeps
I would be glad if our minds communicated
And our eyes identified bridges to cross
And our ears heard our heartbeats from afar
And our souls sang same songs in a melodious blend
When that happens
I will be yours,
Yours completely
Now and forever
And I will give it all to you;
Mind, body and soul.
