Prof. Philomena Okyeso-Yeboah

Mine has been a classroom blessing
Having so many amazing teachers find me
And so many angelic hearts lifting me
…to this stage

Ib
Mine has been an amazing lesson
That a teacher’s work is not only in books
But also making and unmaking young souls

2a
You’ve been in my corner
…from the beginning
You’ve acted a ladder
Even when I knew not I had legs to climb
You’ve acted a promoter
Even when esteem stood in front of me
…berating my audacity
This mere me
You enthroned by offering a home
In your heart
A home where I was everything a dream should be
And I’m grateful

2b.
I am grateful
…Overly, knowing you’ve engraved solidly on
…your heart my honour
I am oh so grateful that you continue to
Project high in life, offering my eminence now and
…professing a greatness of a future I am yet to meet

3a
I am grateful
For you’re oh so wonderful!
I am determined
For I can’t let your fuel
…go waste in my vehicle
I am uplifted
And sure must stamp your pride
…with a win
A win for all your projections
To show the world what a Great teacher looks like
A beautifully blessed soul
In a well made body
…with a brilliant mind

3b
I pray your prayers move mountains
…perform miracles
…kill disasters
…motivate the depressed
And I wish you
…for all struggling students
Who need to meet greatness
…in order to shine

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
