I searched for fins

With my mind’s eye

Because she lives

So far away

But I found none

So she is no mermaid

I searched for wings

with my mind’s eye

Because she lives

So far away

But I found none

So she is no angel

III

How she catches my every fall

How she responds to my every call

How she throws me many faith balls

I can’t believe she is human

Just like those who walk and talk to demean

She is a Yaa

She is an Asihene

She is an Asabea

Her name was not arranged by mistake

For she was truly sent by God

Hello Dearest Cecilia,

I apologize for my absence. I’ve been going through a rough patch with the winter coming in early and trying to prepare my home for the coming onslaught of heavy snows and frigid temps. I miss everyone here on wp but it cannot be helped as I spend a day making my home ready then I spend a couple days in bed recuperating then I spend another day preparing and on and on and on. I have three more windows to cover with plastic then I will have done all I can do to ready my home for winter and should be able to frequent my WP lifeline. My health is also causing me to make the difficult decision to rehome my dogs, which is a heavy blow to my heart so I am trying my best to keep on keeping on. Your writing is wonderful as always and I do pop on here to read a couple here and there but I haven’t been spending too much time on the computer these past couple of weeks. Please know that you are always in my prayers and thoughts! Blessings to you my dear friend and never, ever stop writing!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having such a hard time preparing for the snows. It really can’t be helped. Sorry about your dogs. You’re always in my prayers and thoughts to. Stay safe and thank you for these encouraging words, they help me live right. Blessings.
