When A Wasaman Writes A Weekly

For 3 years, I ‘maintained’ a column in the Business and Financial Times Friday edition. I have put ‘maintained’ in quotes because what I did was to allow the editor unfettered access to my blog to pick articles that suited his purpose.

For a while now, I am serializing articles from my books, starting with I Speak of Ghana, on Citifmonline, which are published every Friday.

In both instances, I used articles I had written already or published. I stayed away from committing to a column which required that I write a new script every week, considering that, contrary to what a few people thought (I found it hilarious), I don’t write full time and my work coupled with my studies made it difficult to keep to the discipline of running a weekly column.
