AMBITION

One day,

I will grow from the star that I am

Into the sun which will shine the entire world bright

I will be the causer of daylight

And like one who loves her job, smile proudly in my undertakings

Then I grow from the sun into the moon

And will brighten the path of night walkers

The stars then will look on in reverence

Until I transfer my light to other stars

And go to lie in a peaceful rest

Until then, I will add my glow to the current moon

And follow her gladly.
