LOOK

Look
Look hard and see
The fruit of your treatment of your servants
…are the foods which will feed the growth of your children
…their children
…and their children’s children

II
Look
Look well and note
The heart you hold for your enemies
Is the same heart which will greet your children
…in their travels through enemy lands
There is an alchemy of karma
…which stirs the porridge of horrid drama

III
Look
Look very hard and know
A ball bounces back to its body
…in a way which the hands that threw can’t match
For its swiftness multiplies in its bounce-backs
And its vengeance quadruples in its hits
This is the formula for love
…and or hatred
Only fence sitters go through equal uninterestingness
…in generations
Life teaches
…minds learn
So look
Look hard and learn
Oh ye wise eyes!
