There are many trees which fall
…when the least winds call
There are many buildings which collapse
…when their foundational time elapse
You’re a mountain
That is why you turned into a captain
…when storms overtook your home
…till you reached your Rome

You’ve been a soldier on this battlefield of life
You’ve been a great fortress, a great wife in strife!
You’ve been an earth which never quaked

You’re a beautiful model to your blessed children!
You’re a great leader to your awesome brethren!
You’re one strong soul in a lovely whole!
You’ve been that great goal

I celebrate you!
I so celebrate your resilience even when you manned
I celebrate you!
Felicitations on your wins even in your loss!
I hail you!
Even storms can touch no tail on you
For you’ve fought and won
…so many battles difficult even for the armored
I pray you hold onto your victory
…as you grieve
…in order to receive all your blessings

Amoafowaa Sefa Cecilia © February 7, 2021 for Mrs. Dorothy Opare Baidoo, a friend who stood by her husband and took charge of her home, when he had an unfortunate work accident for years, till his recent demise. Blessings to you dearest. You wanted poetry but I’ve added an ovation of reverence. Blessings to you and yours always. And once again, my condolences.
