Where today’s hustle is the bridge to uncertainties

Where Corona is naught but a sickness of the higher ups –
A tertiary living
Where none thinks of a possible chit
…to reach its secondary
Talk less of its University
So hands touch bodies to call for sales
Mouths call loudly caring not about their showers
Hoping for a turn back or a stop

This is the bottom
Where news is shared in its personal dilutions
In an unending broadcast
As radios are only good for music
…for the most
Powering exaggerators and liars
To corrupt the uncaring vulnerable

This is the bottom
Where a fast pace is the language of kaya
And a lackadaisical walking
…calls for curses and or a push
Time is the balm for neck’s rest
And feet’s relaxation, noting this gets you out of trouble

Where thieves are noted by sellers
Whose only warnings are “watch your bags o!”
For hate is for actions
…not beings
Everyone respects the eachother’s hustle

Where stores are luxuries aspired to
And cars are dreams never to ever come true
Pans and flat wood are but money fetching possessions to some

Where politics is but a game of big people
Is it a little wonder many sell thumbs for crumbs?
Today is all we know
Tomorrow will be another today all over again

Where everyone understands their work language
From phone repairers to truck pushers
None crosses the other to be rude
In this here bottom
