LOSING GOD

Herbs helped heal hurting humans
Until underlings usurped
Power of its potency
Drowning doing with doubts
Working words into wrestling wins
God the odd factor

Due to fabrications for God’s contamination
Many a mind have veered from righteous paths
Thinking the unrighteous a sure redemption
Due to manipulations of fake prophets
Many herbs are now weeds
…killed by weedicides
As we search for antidotes to heal our sick
In all of this
God is the odd factor

Who goes to a landlord
Who left a fully furnished house as gift
…with instructions
To ask for the staring bed
The watching couch
Bathroom at obvious site
Clothes parading in the closet
And utensils lining the cabinet?

We’re losing touch with our every need for sophistication
We’re losing touch with every breakage of apt culture
We’re killing answers with questions
…whose formulas we suffocate with our feet
We’re dying out
Yes, dying out, due to our loudness
Forfeiting the voices of nature
In our thirst for its murder
It is sad
…we don’t see the world’s murder as our extinction
Who bombs a plane they’re traveling in high in the sky
Thinking to safely land?
It sure might be the overly wise!
