A GREAT SHADOW

You possess a priestess
…that makes you a god
A god none must see
…but all must feel
So stay
…stay in the shadows of myths

II
You can’t want more when you have it all
Parts of you knowing parts of me
…even I don’t know
Parts of us playing parts
…our eyes can never see
What more can an explorer of my caves want?

III
I’m the show woman
…whose pleasurable excesses are myths and fantasies
…to ordinary eyes
I’m the core soul, one who acts out your laws
I’m that body who sings
…at your finger works
…because if guitar strings are different in hands of guitarists
…than I’m in your hands,
Breath will be the only difference
What more can you want?

IV
You knew I was a sacred ground
…before stepping in
You knew I had a different head
…before you came knocking
You knew my heart wrestles being tied down
…and only commits to its daily fulfillments
Believing love a worship needed daily
Believing trust a ship which docks at every day’s shore
Believing care as dished in daily dosages
So fit your bits in my chits
…dished out daily
And enjoy you in my interested eyes
A bearable heat in cold is embraced
Too much calls for a killing
And I only do bearables
…never the unbearables

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
