  1. With love from Nigeria I like this and will think of putting a few poems in Yoruba on my blog. It has a different feel with a superficial meaning. I already noticed a few similarities of Yoruba and Akan. ‘Yi di ka’ or ‘Odi yi ka’ in Yoruba would mean ‘A wall surrounds it’. Funny as it seems ‘dabiara’ would mean ‘perform like wonders’ while ‘akokan’ literally means ‘the first seen’ as it probably relates to designation of inanimate objects. Interesting, which I know what’s in the poem. Off to google translate?
