I
Bats and owls have gone to bed
On huge trees with great great shade
Cats and bowls may be in shed
In an Ewe’s cravings grade
II
I am here like a soldiery bridge
Having crossed from a darkened night
I may be faced with a hardened ridge
But I’ll make sure I get no bite
III
Weapons of truth are like godly arms
I will hold with a prayerful balm
And if I fall by the firearms
I know I will fall into God’s sweet palm

Oh, Cecilia…aren’t you glad you became a poet? We certainly are!! Actually, I know the answer to my question. Smiles…

I really am proud of what I became; a poetess. The thing about it is, it is like taking the pants off your mind and showing your mind’s genitals to all, mostly. But it is so relieving, heals and most importantly a great talent. Glad there are metaphors, symbolisms etc.
