He created the womb
Who intended the tomb
He created the foetus
Who nursed breast-milk
So mouths of suckling
Must do the suckling
The creator knows
The power of noses
Please give to the
Child who
Needs
It

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)

Thanks for this awareness. Most mother deprive their children from having this blessing God has given freely to children through them.

True. Freely given, must be freely nursed. Thanks for your voice Osaro.

You are awesome — this really adds to your blog spreading awareness!! Mums should not (intentionally) hold back from breastfeeding as that’s the right of the child!! But after all, it’s all the choice of the mother ..

Sadly it bounces back to being the rights of the mother. Over civilisation is eroding the right to nature itself. Sad, so sad Naima.

That’s a lovely loving photo. I nursed all my babies and one of my friends children during her illness. There are many benefits to it for both mother and child.

True, it can even help shed the baby weight.

There are many wonderful benefits for both mother and child. Also a lazy mom like me can avoid the whole baby bottle maintenance routine. ;p

Hehehehe. Dear Asariel, you sure can make anyone’s day. You’re not lazy, who wants to wash when there is an easy way?

Awwww, what lovely support for breastfeeding mamas ❤ I nursed my 4, helped many other mamas to nurse their babies, and now my grandson is nursed by his mama, my lovely daughter. I'll send her this poem. Thank you for sharing.
